Guillermo Gomez - President and Founder
Guillermo has over 14 years in advaced technology consulting and business development, focusing in the areas of large-scale enterprise and government solutions integration, Biometrics applications, e-business strategies, business intelligence and telecommunications among others.
Guillermo founded VSI Identity Solutions in May, 1999 with the vision of building a global and integrated consulting organization to help world-class technology companies acquire new clients, enter international markets, and establish strong brand recognition, through the appropriate mix of powerful sales, marketing and business development methodologies and strategies.
Among his accomplishments, Guillermo has been successful in executing the expansion of several US technology companies into international markets. He has accomplished this by utilizing his strategic knowledge about specific markets and by leveraging this knowledge to position technology initiatives within a broad network of key government and private industry contacts throughout Latin America, US and Europe -- including sales execution programs with some of the most desirable systems integrators such as: Sun Microsystems, Hewlett Packard, Oracle, Unisys, IBM and its partners.
From the beginning, Guillermo has focused the company's business development efforts in the hottest technology practices today -- Areas like fingerprint Biometric technologies, Wireless applications, Service Quality Management, Business Intelligence and Telecommunications software and Hardware. With this solid approach, the company has been able to place its Business Development Services in leading-edge organizations including SPSS, BioWeb and Telecommunicazioni & Informatica.
Before establishing VSI Identity Solutions , Guillermo worked as International Business Development Director with Data Resource Group, a top US IBM business partner, PowerVision, a leading US Technology and Engineering firm, and SPSS Inc., one of the world leaders in Business Intelligence software. Guillermo holds a BA from Javeriana University (degree in Business Administration with focus on International Business)
Jaime Peisach - Business Development Executive
Jaime has over 8 years of experience in sales and business development primarily in the communications industry. As Previous Founder and Director of Business Development at Phone1 Globalwide OTCBB-PHGW, Jaime has worked with clients such as AT&T, Nortel Networks, Orbitel, ETB, EPM, Fusion, Ve-Mail, ECI Telecom, ITALTEL and many others. Jaime is a graduate of Philadelphia University, and has completed several courses in Market Research and International Marketing.
Javier Gómez - Business Development Executive
Javier has been involved in business development roles for over 13 years the last 8 focused on Internet technology design and strategies. He has worked at BlueSeas International, a company he founded in 1993; A large IBM business partner focusing on the small to medium size organizations as a Senior eBusiness Specialist; and Arthur Andersen, as a manager of their Advance Technology Group within their Business Consulting unit addressing Fortune 500 companies in Florida.
While at Anderson, Javier was promoted to the National eBusiness team focusing on eBusiness initiatives for Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 clientele worldwide. He has worked on $1 million to $10 million engagements handling project management including business strategy, experiential design and design architecture. Before joining VSI Identity Solutions, Javier was a Senior Manager for Emerald Solutions, a large system integrator based out of Portland, Oregon, supporting their eCommerce and Customer Interaction initiative throughout the Southeastern United States for Fortune 500 clientele including Disney, Nike, Readers Digest, Consumer Reports, Blue Martini, and Interwoven. Javier holds a Bachelors degree from Indiana University.
